Cisco Int’l Networking Academy Inaugurated at University of Haripur

Leading the digital transformation, BRAINS Institute achieved yet another by establishing a Cisco Networking Academy at University of Haripur. The Cisco Academy Support & Instructor’ Training Centre, established at BRAINS Institute Peshawar, has been quite effectively accomplishing the strengthening the existing Cisco Networking Academies, and also establishing new Cisco academies all over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The inauguration ceremony of Cisco Int’l Networking Academy held at the office of University of Haripur. The launching event was marked by the inspiring presence of Prof. Dr. Shafique ur Rehman, the worthy Vice Chancellor of the University of Haripur, being flanked by Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Khan and Prof. Dr. Riaz Khan besides scores of delegates and professionals who participated from different walks of life.
“This digital literacy has become the need of the hour for each and every organisation to perform at par with global institution. Digital transformation is imperative for all businesses, from a micro-organizational entity to the largest of enterprises.” This was stated by Mr. Zafar Ullah Khan, Rector BRAINS Institute and CEO Cisco ASC/ITC being ‘Guest of Honour’ on the occasion, in his key note address to the participants during the inauguration ceremony of Cisco Int’l Networking Academy at University of Haripur.
“The setting up of Cisco Int’l Academy Support Centre will provide a host of opportunities for the educational institutions, including the schools, colleges and universities operating both public and private sector. The Higher Education Commission (HEC) really admires and supports such initiatives, which pave a way to promote the innovative IT technologies in Pakistan. I truly congratulate the management and staff of University of Haripur for taking this enduring initiative at this part of country,” Mr. Zafar Ullah Khan added.
Leading the digital transformation, BRAINSTEC (BRAINS Technology Enterprise Center) is an enduring initiative of BRAINS Institute for imparting the education, training and research services in emerging hi-tech fields. It envisions to equip the youth & students with the latest knowledge to succeed in making their place on the right side of digital divide. The joint initiative of Cisco Int’l and BRAINS Institute to develop the highly skilled workforce and prepare the future leaders through access to technology resources for harnessing the global opportunities of an ever-changing digital age.
